We met on social media. After a few messages, the rest is history.

Tell us about the proposal

It was December 8th--the night of my company holiday party. After the party, we went downtown to ride around and enjoy the sites of our city, DC. E’an then stops the car to ask me to take a picture in front of the Washington Monument. Never one to turn down a photo op, I got out of the car and fixed my clothes. When I turned around he was on one knee. He asked me if I wanted to marry him and I said “HELL YEAH!”. I gave him the biggest hug and kiss and stared at my new engagement ring! It was a total surprise!

E’an said that the proposal was quasi-planned and that he had been carrying around the ring for a little while. He decided that the moment at the monument was the best time because there was “no time like the present” and that he was awestruck by Beyonka’s beauty when she was getting out of the car.

What did you do for your first date?

We went to dinner and a movie.

How has wedding planning been going so far?

Beyond Fabulous!

What are you looking forward to most on your wedding day?

Seeing our family and friends enjoy themselves as we celebrate our everlasting love.
