Tell us About How You Met.
We met in college. Jordyn was actually dating a roommate of mine. We were friends during that time, but could tell that there was something more there. After the relationship ended, I made my move and the rest is history.
Jordyn, how did you know John was "The One"?
He's the man of my dreams. He goes above and beyond for me and makes me smile at every chance he gets.
John, how did you know Jordyn was "The One"?
One day, I woke up and I just couldn't imagine life without her anymore. That was the day I made up my mind and decided to get a ring.
Tell us about the proposal.
We were actually at a Crayola factory! I got them to put "Will You Marry Me" on a giant crayon that I held out to her. It was pretty funny and got a good reaction from the other people around.
What was wedding shopping like for you?
It was kind of stressful, but Ms. Savage-Moore and Jordyn's aunt really helped out a lot.
What is the best advice you can give engaged couples?
Enjoy the process.
Describe your wedding style.
Centered around family and our family home, we wanted to go with something slightly elegant, but not too extravagant.
What was your favorite moment from the wedding?
There was a moment where it was just John and I on the dancefloor with our wedding party and one of our favorite songs came on. It was just us and many of the guests were either at their seats or taking photos outside of the tent. We really cut loose!
