Location - Jefferson Memorial
Introduction
Dakota and Rodhem are a beautiful young couple from Petersburg, VA. They were in the DC area to visit family and see the sights before the holiday season started. We were contacted by Rodhem's cousin as he was helping put the plan in motion for his younger cousin. It was a beautiful, yet windy day at the tidal basin--decent weather to take in some sights. The plan was for Dakota and Rodhem to meet with family members at the Jefferson Memorial, but when Rodhem dropped to his knee, Dakota was in shock. Rodhem kept his words sweet, true, and to the point. She said yes in front of a small crowd of congratulating tourists and her family came in to share the moment. Congratulations Dakota and Rodhem!
